My coffee obsession has been increasing healthily since I first tasted well-made espresso made from freshly-roasted beans about 10 years ago.

I started home-roasting 2 years ago and discovered a whole world of awesome coffee.

I worked for a year as a barista, battling against stale beans and customers who didn’t really care what I gave them.

I was offered an amazing opportunity to roast for a new specialty coffee roastery – spending my days profiling, cupping, blending, sourcing green beans and other things that bore most people.

This blog gives me a good excuse to talk about coffee without boring my wife and friends.
